Mr. Moreno

Mr. Moreno was born and raised in New York City. Coming from an eclectic background he began playing folk and rock n roll music in his teenage years. A student of Bill Zito, Mr. Moreno has a strong foundation in the classical guitar finger style technique. With a Bachelors Degree in Music from Adelphi University Mr. Moreno has experience performing in classical ensembles performing alongside orchestral musicians. Founder of the Adelphi Early Music Club Mr. Moreno is also a lutenist accompanying singers, performing solo or with other instrumentalists. Mr. Moreno also has experience in the classroom setting. Through the student teaching program at Adelphi he has taught music courses to high school and elementary students. Mr. Moreno is a working musician performing on Long Island and in New York City.

Mr. Sebastian graduated as a dual major from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor of Arts in Guitar Performance/Contemporary Writing and Production. Being able to study with not only incredible musicians but amazing teachers such as Tim Miller and Mick Goodrick, showed Sebastian the qualities of a great teacher. Even before he graduated, Sebastian was teaching as a student employee for the summer programs at Berklee and also had established his own private students while in Boston. After graduating he moved back to NYC and has been teaching in schools ever since. Specializing in improvisational and contemporary styles, Sebastian can help musicians develop their improvisational language. His philosophy is that every student, no matter the age, has their own musical voice and all they need to do is stay motivated and devoted to their craft and they will find it. In addition to having a passion for teaching, Sebastian is also a performer. He has played many festivals and shows all around the country and plays with many local artists in the NYC scene. His love for both teaching and performing helps give students multiple and realistic perspectives.

Mr. William H

Mr. William is an experienced guitarist, keyboardist, composer, and improviser who has toured Europe and North America, and worked as a session musician on acclaimed albums and feature film scores. He played guitars on the soundtrack to director Panos Cosmatos’ 2018 cult hit movie ‘Mandy’ starring Nicolas Cage, and has worked with numerous artists including Jóhann Jóhannsson, Myrkur, Randall Dunn, Wolves in the Throne Room, Zola Jesus, Stephen O’Malley, Úlfur, Hanna Benn, choreographer Kate Wallich; and has opened for Sun Ra Arkestra, Algiers, and many others. He earned a Bachelor of Music in classical composition from Cornish College of the Arts in 2013, where studied with composers Wayne Horvitz and Jarrad Powell, and classical guitarist Michael Nicolella. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Mr. William developed a passion for playing guitar at the young age of 11. He honed his skills in different genres such as metal, pop, and fingerstyle guitar, and as a teenager, learned piano and began writing and recording his own music. Mr. William immersed himself in the creative music and art scene in Seattle, playing professionally in bands, songwriting, composing chamber music, and producing original scores for contemporary dance, theater, and film. Mr. William has been a committed educator since 2016, teaching private guitar, piano, bass, ukulele lessons, and band classes. He relocated to New York City in 2019, where he continues to share his love for music with his students and audiences alike.
